EMERGENZE explores the concept of a scenographic space through a light, inflatable structure that serves as a central axis of artistic research. The elements within highlight the difficulty of movement, the contact between the human body and plastic material, and the manipulation of objects, all of which become choreographic components.
The plastic material enveloping the performer evokes ambivalent notions: it acts as a nest, a matrix, an amniotic fluid, and simultaneously as an imminent threat. This dualism underscores the inherent tensions of the human experience, balancing safety and danger.
Sound, carefully crafted by the sound designer, amplifies and distorts the perception of space. It echoes the sensations elicited by the plastic material, oscillating between protection and suffocation. Through this interaction, the work invites viewers to reflect on their own experience of life and the complex relationships we maintain with our environment—both nurturing and threatening.
Thus, this installation transcends simple representation; it creates an interactive space where body, material, and sound intertwine to question our relationship with existence, fragility, and resilience.
