Festival Waterfall

The Utopian Laundromat is a project by La Bonneterie that introduces a hybrid laundry system, blending art, ecology, and functionality. Created as part of the Waterfall Festival, this project highlights the reuse and enhancement of water from the nearby river and its embankment. At the heart of this installation are three interconnected basins fed by the adjacent Alzette River. To capture this natural resource, a pump has been installed beneath a floating deckchair, specifically designed for the occasion, establishing a poetic link between water and art.
