Starting from a study on collectionism and the concept of rarity, we engaged in a reflection on the notion of rarity in contemporary society. The overabundance of information and mass reproduction have diminished the value of rarity and the very principle of originality. In a society of overproduction, this project aims to highlight ordinary objects by giving them a precious quality. We seek to create a cabinet of curiosities, focusing on traditional species to emphasize the importance of these elements within our cultural and natural heritage.
