On stage, an apocalyptic atmosphere reigns, highly electric. At the center appears the Governor: an intrepid hero who fears nothing, not even solitude. He knows that once again, his vital energy and panache will triumph over the dark, ancestral, and mysterious forces that have always conspired against him. Amidst hedonistic professions of faith, hymns to freedom, and homophobic rants, the last act of power joyfully unfolds, both authoritarian and rebellious, leaving behind gaping scars.

Silvio's Glam Democracy is not intended to be a mere instant play, but rather a project of civic poetry whose demystifying and desacralizing function transcends the immediate political context. The Glam Democracy spreads like a powerful virus through most Western states. Democracy no longer defends the rights of citizens or builds fairer worlds; it is characterized by a passive identification with the political rockstar of the moment. This is the direct consequence of the "genocide of living cultures," to speak like Pier Paolo Pasolini, which has killed the being by replacing it with a spectacular image.
